Kenyan Influencer Pritty Vishy Mourns Death of Her Aunt, Says “We Had So Many Plans”

Kenyan social media influencer Pritty Vishy is mourning the untimely death of her beloved aunt, expressing her pain and heartbreak in an emotional tribute shared online.

The outspoken content creator poured out her grief in a heartfelt message, revealing that she and her aunt had many plans together before her sudden passing.

According to The Africa Standard, Pritty shared her message on social media, saying she had hoped to end the year in peace and happiness, only for tragedy to strike unexpectedly.

She recalled how her aunt had been supportive of her during a difficult time, particularly after she underwent cosmetic surgery earlier this year.

Pritty revealed that her aunt had planned to go through a similar cosmetic procedure but wanted to wait and see how Pritty’s surgery turned out first.

In her emotional message, she wrote, “And when I thought I’m ending this year with grace and peace God had other plans. We have so many memories but the one she came to visit me after my surgery hits the most.”

She added, “Waaah, Ilikuwa tufanye pamoja, umeniacha sasa, wacha ningoje six months nione vile yako itakaa ndo nifanye yangu. But nafanya January.”

The influencer said the memory of that conversation now haunts her, as her aunt never got the chance to fulfill those plans.

Her words reflected both deep love and regret, as she lamented the loss of a woman she described as her confidant and biggest cheerleader.

Pritty also recalled the period in 2022 when she first went viral online, admitting that the intense bullying she faced nearly broke her spirit.

During that difficult time, it was her late aunt who encouraged her to stay strong, reminding her that online critics did not define her worth.

She recounted, “And when I went viral in January 2022, the bullying got into me so bad and she told me, ‘Sasa unataka kujimaliza juu ya watu hawakujui na hawakulishi? Sai ndo inafaa kufungua YouTube, wapostie mastory.’”

The influencer credited her aunt’s advice as one of the reasons she was able to rise above online negativity and build her brand.

She expressed her sorrow at losing someone who always believed in her dreams and guided her during her most vulnerable moments.

“My grandma’s lastborn, mama Keshia, aunty mafom, who will teach me these things now?” she wrote, mourning her aunt’s wisdom and warmth.

Pritty also revealed that her grandmother has been inconsolable since the tragedy, saying the family has struggled to cope with the loss.

“She cries every day and doesn’t even sleep,” Pritty wrote, adding that her aunt’s one-year-old daughter, Keshia, misses her mother deeply.

“Who will be telling me, ‘Pury jipende?’ We had so many plans, aunty. Shosh cries every day. Keshia is only one year old. She misses you so bad. Go well, my love. Say hi to grandpa,” she wrote.

Fans and followers of the influencer flooded the comments section with messages of sympathy and support, expressing their sadness over her loss.

One user, Yvonne Chepchumba, commented, “Aki she was so beautiful.”

Another follower, Waridizuwena, wrote, “Sorry for the loss Pritty. May she rest in peace.”

Social media user June Kamba said, “Anakaa tuu anty mafom. May she rest easy.”

Others, like Zilda Kana, expressed disbelief, saying, “Sijui kama ni mimi nikiona mdogo wangu amepas hufeel vibaya. Like mtu 97 anadead aje? Poleni mamaa.”

Another follower, Bibiye Sam Galois, shared, “Go well Loice Mulama. She was a vibe, young soul gone like that, but it is well.”

The Africa Standard reports that Pritty Vishy has received an outpouring of love from fans who continue to send comforting words as she grieves her aunt’s passing.

The influencer, known for her honesty and resilience, said she takes solace in the memories they shared and the lessons her aunt taught her about self-love and strength.

Her emotional tribute stands as a reminder of the powerful bond between family members and the pain that comes with losing someone so dear.
